Plantar Fasciitis Facts & Symptoms
Symptoms of Plantar
Fasciitis:
Plantar
fasciitis is a painful inflammation of the plantar fascia
also called the plantar aponeurosis. The plantar fascia is a
connective tissue that extends from heel to the metatarsal
bones and supports the arch of the foot.
Foot pain caused by
plantar fasciitis is usually felt in the heel and back
portion of the arch and is often most painful in the morning
or after long periods of walking, running, or standing followed by a
period of resting. Symptoms of plantar fasciitis can
be sharp shooting
pain in the heel or arch area closest to
the heel or severe
cramping of the arch of the foot.
Shoes with no
arch support, working on hard surfaces, and
sudden weight gain have been known to cause plantar
fasciitis conditions to flair up. Many times a
heel spur
or
bone spur can
accompany plantar fasciitis which can cause even more foot
pain.
Common Plantar
Fasciitis Treatments:
Common
treatments for chronic plantar fasciitis include stretching
of the
Achilles tendon and plantar fascia, planter fasciitis
boots, resting the foot, losing weight, wearing arch
supports, wrapping and taping,
liquid filled shoe insoles
for plantar fasciitis, and avoiding flip-flops or shoes with
flat insoles. Other more invasive treatments include steroid
injections, surgery, and ultrasound however most foot
specialists recommend exhausting all other treatment methods
before choosing these advance plantar fasciitis treatment
options.
How Can Foot Relief
Shoe Insoles Help Relieve Pain from Plantar Fasciitis?
Foot
Relief Insoles contain a liquid called glycerin that forms
to the shape of your foot, supporting your arch. The
liquid then gently massages the plantar fascia throughout
the day helping to stretch the plantar fascia with every
step you take. This massaging action helps to relieve
many of the painful symptoms and underlying conditions
causing inflammation of the plantar fasciitis such as heel
spurs,
arch pain, and heel pain caused by shock from hard
surfaces. Many of our loyal customers suffered from
severe to chronic plantar fasciitis for years before trying
